Constrat: Προχωρά στην εγκατάσταση 7.000 υδρομετρητών στην Πάργα με τη Sigfox Hellas

Ο δήμος Πάργας επέλεξε, μέσα από διαγωνισμό, την Constrat για την εγκατάσταση 7.000 υδρομετρητών στην Ελλάδα, με στόχο την βέλτιστη διαχείριση των υδάτων. Η ανάδοχος εταιρεία θα συνεργαστεί με την Sigfox Hellas, η οποία χρησιμοποιεί την τεχνολογία Sigfox 0G, ένα Low-Power Wide-Area Network, το οποίο προσφέρει ενεργειακά αποδοτική συλλογή δεδομένων και βιώσιμες λύσεις μέτρησης νερού προς όφελος των κοινοτήτων και του περιβάλλοντος. Το έργο θα επιλύσει χρόνια προβλήματα, δίνοντας την ευκαιρία στον πολίτη να γνωρίζει την κατανάλωση του, καθώς και την δυνατότητα στην υπηρεσία ύδρευσης να ελέγχει αποτελεσματικά το δίκτυο, αφού θα παρέχει κρίσιμες πληροφορίες σχετικά με το ύψος της κατανάλωσης ανά περιοχή, κάτι που σε συνδυασμό με το σύστημα τηλεμετρίας των αντλιοστασίων και των δεξαμενών θα προλαμβάνει προβλήματα διακοπών υδροδότησης. Η απόφαση της Constrat να επιλέξει την τεχνολογία Sigfox 0G, σε ένα τόσο μεγάλο ΙοΤ έργο, βασίζεται στο γεγονός ότι η Sigfox προσφέρει ένα συνδυασμό λύσεων χαμηλού κόστους και χαμηλής ισχύος μέσω ενός ενιαίου παγκόσμιου δικτύου, το οποίο ανήκει και λειτουργείται από 72+ φορείς της Sigfox, επιτρέποντας σε επιχειρήσεις να παρακολουθούν τα περιουσιακά τους στοιχεία σε παγκόσμιο επίπεδο. Με περισσότερες από 18 εκατομμύρια συνδεδεμένες συσκευές και 70 εκατομμύρια μηνύματα που στέλνονται κάθε μέρα, η Sigfox βοηθά τους πελάτες της να εξάγουν δεδομένα με το χαμηλότερο κόστος παραγωγής και να επιταχύνουν τον ψηφιακό τους μετασχηματισμό.
